Sovereign hill

Last week I went to Sovereign Hill with my class for three days with my class. On Monday we just explored including several tours that we went in to and saw how and why people found gold. On one tour we got to see the place where the biggest golden nugget ever that weighed 69 kilos!

That after noon we found out who was in which cabin. It turned out that I was in a cabin with only one person that couldn’t do the Rubik’s cube and in the neatest room. So we called ourselves the “Rubik’s Cube Clean Cabin!” To make our Cabin even better, when it was our turn for inspection, we started singing the Australian national anthem! We won the “cleanest cabin competition” as well!
On Tuesday we woke to an early start and went down to breaky and then…
To school. But not the school we have now, but the school in 1858. It was tough. It was brutal. It was…
Awesome. Back then if you were a tiny bit naughty, then you got hit by the cane. You do NOT want to get hit by the cane. The cane was made of bamboo and really hurt when you got hit by it (even though no one got hit by it we knew because it made a loud bang when it hit the benches).
On Tuesday night we went to the “Sound And Light” show that included the story of bunjil, the story of eureka, and the story of the prehistoric land.
On Wednesday we went to school again, but this time we had to give payment. It could be from an apple to a note. I gave the teacher a note, Ziggy gave a note that said Dear SIR instead of MA’AM and everyone laughed. Max hu did a note that was typed and Ma’am said tomorrow he would need to see him doing that perfect writing again and if he didn’t he would get a mighty fine wack!
I highly recommend going to sovereign hill.
